Parkville Recreation Baseball offers programs for children ages 4-15. We are one of the largest in-house baseball programs in the state of Maryland serving over 500 players (all registered through Parkville) each season.
Our in-house season begins April 1st and concludes at the end of June. Highlights of our season include Little League Day at Camden Yards where players and coaches parade around the warning track prior to the start of an O's game, end of the year parties for t-ball, clinic and 8-year-olds and All Star games for the 9-10, 11-12 and 13-15 leagues.
Our younger age groups (ages 4-8) play a season of non-competitive baseball that focuses on teaching the fundamentals of baseball including basic baseball skills, rules and strategies along with good sportsmanship, appropriate behavior and attitude.
Our older age groups (ages 9-15) play a season of competitive baseball that builds on what is taught at the younger level while preparing them for a season ending playoff tournament.
The Parkville Recreation Baseball Association has set goals and during the year will try to teach the children the importance of sportsmanship, friendship, respect for the referee and the opposite team as well as their own team members.
Our goals are to:
- Create an environment in which children and adults can have fun with baseball at all levels of talent and ability.
- Teach baseball skills, rules and strategy to our players.
- Model and teach competitiveness with an emphasis on good sportsmanship and appropriate behavior attitude.
- Prepare each player for advancement to the next level of competition.
- Promote self-esteem among the players.
Age Determination Date
For the Spring 2023 season, ages will be calculated as of April 30, 2023. Based on your child's birth date, they will be eligible to register for one of the following available leagues:

All teams in the leagues 8 year-olds and under are formed by the age group commissioner. Every attempt is made to honor special requests made on your registration form but cannot be guaranteed.
All teams in 9-10, 11-12 and 13-15 leagues are formed during a draft in mid-March. Special requests cannot be honored in these age groups due to the nature of the team formations.

Registration Discounts
Early Registration Discount
Register before January 15, 2023 to receive a $5.00 discount on all registrations.
Family Member Discount
Each additional sibling receives a $5.00 discount (which applies after the first player has registered).
Family Maximum Payment
The maximum a family will have to pay for In-House baseball is $215.00.

Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued after March 1, 2023. Any refund that is issued will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee.
