Spring Season Player Evaluations will be held at Coppermine Four Seasons at 2710 Hampstead-Mexico Rd, Hampstead. All players for the below age groups should plan to attend. ANY PLAYERS REQUESTING TO PLAY UP MUST ATTEND, or they will not be allowed to play up.
Ages 7/8: Saturday Feb 24, 8AM
Ages 9/10: Saturday Feb 24, 9AM
Ages 11/12: Saturday Feb 24, 10 AM
Spring Season Indoor Workouts will be held at Coppermine Four Seasons at 2710 Hampstead-Mexico Rd, Hampstead Saturday March 9 & March 16 from 4pm to 8pm. More details will be shared in February/March.
The Manchester Baseball Association has set goals for each age group and during the year will teach the children the importance of sportsmanship, friendship, respect for officials and the opposite team, as well as their own team members. Our older age groups (ages 7-14) play a season of competitive baseball that builds on what is taught at the younger level.
- Our mission is to provide recreational baseball to the area kids. The program facilitates kids from ages 4-14 providing a safe and learning environment in the game of baseball.
- We strive to keep the spirit of the game an active tradition. We pursue the continued support through volunteers and value the communities support and contributions.
- We honor all levels of play and offer advancement, when age appropriate, to further the desire to play at a more competitive level.
- As a member of the North Carroll Recreation Council, it is our goal to continue in good faith with the By-Laws of such Council and the By-Laws of the Manchester Baseball Association. We stand for fairness, fundamentals and merriment.
AGE DETERMINATION DATE
For the upcoming season, ages will be calculated as of April 30, 2024. Based on your child's birth date, they will be eligible to register for one of the following available leagues:

All teams in the league are formed in late February. Special requests cannot be guaranteed in these age groups due to the nature of the team formations.
Coaching & Other Special Requests
We CANNOT guarantee coach/ carpool requests. Teams must be made as competitive/ balanced as possible.
NEW FOR 2024 – Concession Stand Volunteers
Each team that utilizes Christmas Tree Park will be given a list of dates that they are required to find a volunteer to work the concession stand. The dates/times will not be during said team’s games.

UNIFORMS
Each child participating in the program will receive a hat, shirt, pants and belt that they will keep.
FIELDS
The Spring Season will be played at Christmas Tree Park and Manchester Elementary School. Games & practices could also be held at Cape Horn Park if necessary. Some age groups will travel to neighboring areas for games.
