Westminster Girls Basketball offers both in-house and travel programs and is open to girls from kindergarten through 12th grade. Our programs are designed to welcome players of all skill levels while providing opportunities for each athlete to learn, grow, compete, and enjoy the game of basketball.

Our program is committed to:

1. Creating a positive and enjoyable experience where every player has the opportunity to have fun, succeed on the court, and build confidence that extends beyond basketball.
2. Promoting good sportsmanship by emphasizing teamwork, respect, responsibility, and being a positive competitor.
3. Teaching the fundamentals of basketball in an age-appropriate environment, allowing players to develop their skills and understanding of the game at their own pace.
4. Providing opportunities for continued growth and competition through both our in-house and travel programs.

Our History

Westminster Girls Basketball was established in the mid-1970s as a travel program serving girls in grades 5–8. In 1991, the program expanded to include an in-house league for girls in kindergarten through 12th grade, creating an opportunity for girls throughout the community to participate in basketball regardless of their experience or skill level.

The travel program continued alongside the in-house league, offering competitive opportunities for players with more advanced skills. Today, our travel program includes teams at the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels, providing players with the opportunity to further develop their skills and compete at a higher level while continuing to emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game.

For more than 50 years, Westminster Girls Basketball has worked to give girls in our community the opportunity to play, learn, compete, and grow—both on and off the court.

Refund Policy

No refunds are issued after the first game has been played. Any refund that is issued may be subject to a $10 Admin Fee to cover non-refundable costs.
