Due to the circumstances of the COVID-19 virus and the shut downs it has caused we are changing what we will be doing this fall.  Our goal is to start sooner, August 15th and end October 3rd.  If things do stay open into October we will continue the program but at this point we plan to end October 3rd to be on the safe side and so our parents have an end date.

This summer/Fall we will be doing more practices and scrimmages amongst our own players and not looking to play other programs.  Most other programs are doing something similar due to the possibility of sports or Park and Rec’s having to shut things down again.

League Information

For the Summer/Fall we will be registering players in the same age groups as we had for the spring season.  We will offer the same groups, T-Ball (5/6), Instructional (7/8), Minors (9/10), Majors (11/12) and Juniors (13/15).   Depending in the # of players we get in each age group will determine if we can have games amongst our own teams.  We are not looking to have umpires some in if we have enough in any age group to have games.  It will all be setup more as scrimmages to get the players time on the field.  In our 13/15 group, if we get enough players there is a chance we could play in the FCBR Fall baseball.

• T-Ball – Practices one day during the week and Saturday with all being at City Park fields.
• Instructional – Practices one day during the week and Saturday with all being at City Park fields.
• Minors – Practices one day a week and Saturday at Bennett Cerf.
• Majors – Practices one day a week and Saturday between Avondale and Landon Burns
• Juniors – TBD but all practices would be a Landon with any games TBD if we would play with FCBR. 

Note: the player's age is determined based on his/her age as of April 30, 2020. 

Cost
We will be charging a small fee or $30, non-refundable if the season is shutdown, for the summer/fall so we can get the kids shirts and hats. 

We will be looking for coaches to run practices/scrimmages in each age group so please consider volunteering.  If you do there is information on the registration for how to get your background check completed and a volunteer badge.  You only need to do this if you currently do not have a volunteer badge or yours is ready to expire.
