Clay Club with Mr. Briggs

The Prettyboy Arts Program offers students from K thru 5th grade the following Clay Club opportunities:

Session 1 Clay Club
- Students will create their own "Russian Nesting Dolls"
- Students can register to attend on either of the three days:

Tuesdays: October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th; or
Wednesdays: October 3rd, 10th, 17th (2 hours) and 24th; or
Thursdays: October 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, and November 1st

Session 2 Clay Club
- Students will create their own Clay Club "Birdhouse"
- Students can register to attend on either of the three days:

Tuesdays: November 20th (2 hours), 27th, December 4th and 11th; or
Wednesdays: November 14th, 21st, 28th, December 5th, and 12th; or
Thursdays: November 15th (2 hours), 29th, December 6th, and 13th

Both club sessions will be under the instruction of Prettyboy Elementary’s Mr. Jim Briggs. They will create a plan for their sculptures, plus build and paint them as well.

Classes are offered to kindergarten thru 5th graders, with a limit of 25 students per day (for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays). Select the day that fits your family the best! A minimum of 15 students are needed per day to have that day run. Registration will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Some Sessions have filled very quickly in the past! Don't delay!

*Note: This is the third year we are allowing Kindergarteners to sign-up for Clay Club; however, this is a 1-hour club that meets once a week in Mr. Briggs’ art room. Please evaluate the situation for your child and determine if it will work well for them. Having a friend and/or sibling join with them still works the best. Thanks so much.

Cost: $50 per session/ per student (materials are included in the cost). The Session is 1 day a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) and is 5 weeks long, meeting from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Refund Policy

Any refund that is issued will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee.
