Welcome to Overlea Recreational Basketball 2025–26, where boys and girls come together to learn, grow, and love the game! Whether your child is brand new to basketball or already making moves, this is the place to have fun, build confidence, and develop skills — both on and off the court.

Our league provides a high-energy, player-focused experience where athletes sharpen their fundamentals while gaining lifelong values like teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and friendship. Open to all skill levels — from beginners to seasoned players — in a positive, recreational setting that puts development first.

Important Dates

Skill Development Sessions
Dates: November 15th, November 22nd, and November 29th

These sessions are open to all age groups and are a key part of what makes our league special. Skill development gives players the opportunity to improve their fundamentals while allowing our coaches to work directly with the kids in a positive, focused environment.  

We strongly encourage all players to attend and take advantage of these sessions.

Player Evaluation Day
Date: December 6th

This day is extremely important for team formation. Evaluations help ensure that all teams are balanced and that every player is placed in the best environment for their development.

Please make every effort to have your child present for evaluations.

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade. 12/6 8:45 AM - 9:15 AM Golden Ring Middle School
3rd Grade - 5th Grade - 12/6 9:30 AM - 10:10AM - Golden Ring Middle School
Middle School - 12/6 10:15 AM - 10:55 AM - Golden Ring Middle School

*** Player MUST BE registered to Participate in Skill Development and Player Evaluation Day.

Age Groups 

All age groups are COED.

Middle School Division:

Eligibility Requirements - To register for the Middle School Division, the athlete must meet all of the following:
- Grade Level: Must be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade as of August 25, 2025
- Age Range: Must be 11 to 14 years old on or before November 14, 2025

*High School Status: Athletes enrolled in 9th grade or higher are not eligible to participate in this division, even if they meet the age requirement.

3rd–5th Grade Division

Eligibility Requirements - To register for the 3rd–5th Grade Division, the athlete must meet all of the following:
- Grade Level: Must be in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade as of August 25, 2025
- Age Range: Must be 8 to 11 years old on or before November 14, 2025

*Middle School Status: Athletes enrolled in 6th grade or higher are not eligible, even if they meet the age requirement

Kindergarten–2nd Grade Division

Eligibility Requirements - To register for the Kindergarten–2nd Grade Division, the athlete must meet all of the following:
- Grade Level: Must be in Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade as of August 25, 2025
- Age Range: Must be 5 to 7 years old on or before November 7, 2025

*Elementary Status: Athletes enrolled in 3rd grade or higher are not eligible, even if they meet the age requirement

Registration Costs

Early Bird Price (Valid Until 9/22) - $90.87 per player
Second Wave Price (Valid Until 11/01) - $102.99 per player
Final Price (11/02 - 01/01/2026) - $121.16 per player

*Sibling discount of $10 for each player registered after the first fully paid registration
