Spring 2023 Registration Opens November 28, 2022
The 2023 Spring Lacrosse Season is right around the corner and registration will open on November 28, 2022.
- We are tentatively scheduled to have FOUR indoor sessions for evaluations. February 5, February 12, February 19, and February 26, 2023. Times will be 11am-1pm to North Carroll High School in the Upper Gym.
- Team sizes will be limited; waiting lists are possible so please register early.
- Spring 2023 Season Registration will close on March 1, 2023. Registrations submitted after these dates are not guaranteed a roster spot, and a $15.00 late fee may be assessed.
- Registration fee can be paid at once or using a (2) payment option. Your first registration payment is due at time of registration, and your second payment is due on February 19, 2023. PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED TO ATTEND EVALUATIONS/PRACTICE.
- DETAILS ON THIS YEAR’S ASSESSMENTS:
- Sunday February 5th and 12th - Goalie, Shooting and Open Clinics – 11AM-1PM at North Carroll High School in the Upper Gym! This is for all ages. Come get those sticks moving. Perfect for girls who are not sure if they want to play or if they will it! Bring them and let them try it out! New and experienced players will have the opportunity to learn from some of Manchester Valley High School Girls Lacrosse and McDaniel College's BEST!
- Sunday February 19th & 26th —> Assessments held 11AM-1PM at North Carroll High School in the Upper Gym (Specifics coming soon) – PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED TO ATTEND THESE TWO ASSESSMENTS.
- Age Determination & fees for the 2023 Season:
- Pockets CGL ($85) - Born 09/01/15 - 8/31/17 (pre-K through 1st grade)
- Tykers CGL ($120) – Born 09/01/13 – 8/31/15 (2nd and 3rd grade)
- Lightning ($185) - Born 09/01/11 - 8/31/13 (4th and 5th grade)
- Midgets ($185) - Born 09/01/09 - 08/31/11 (6th and 7th grade)
- Juniors ($185) - Born 09/01/07 - 08/31/09 (8th and 9th grade)
- Outdoor practice will begin the week of March 6, 2023.
- UNIFORM FITTING will be held at evaluations. For pockets, we ask you to come by on one of the evaluation days to get fitted.
OPT OUT OF FUND RAISING OPTION
Once again this season, parents and players can opt out of fundraising by paying $50 at the time of registration. If you elect this option, you will not be asked to participate in fundraising events. You can choose to participate if you wish. Your participation will be on top of the $50 fee paid at the time of registration.
This year’s fund raising will consist of a raffle ticket sale and a plant sale. If you elect to participate in the fund raising, each player is expected to sell 10, $5 raffle tickets and at least 2 flowers.
TEAM PLACEMENT (LIGHTNING THROUGH JUNIORS LEVEL):
Team placement is subject to evaluations and evaluations only. Special requests can be made for siblings playing in the same age group, but they will be required to play at the lower level if the siblings are evaluated differently. For example, if Sibling A evaluates as a B player and Sibling B evaluates as a C player, parents can request they be together on the C team. No other request will be granted.
REFUND POLICY (TYKERS THROUGH JUNIORS LEVEL): NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER 11:59 PM ON FEBRUARY 26th. THIS ALLOWS THE GIRLS TO ATTEND 2 EVALUATIONS. IF FOR ANY REASON YOU WOULD LIKE TO WITHDRAW FROM THE PROGRAM PLEASE DO SO BEFORE 11:59 PM ON FEBRUARY 26th.
REFUND POLICY (POCKETS): FULL REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED UP UNTIL THE START OF THE POCKETS SEASON, MARCH 1st
