Field Hockey
Central Carroll Field Hockey program announces its 24th Season for girls and boys in K thru 9th grade (not playing high school) with a focus on fundamental skills, teamwork, building confidence and self-esteem.
Central Carroll Field Hockey is a member of the Maryland Youth Field Hockey League which includes recreation councils from Baltimore, Howard, Harford and Carroll Counties.
Last year, we had 4 teams; a clinic group, a 3/4 team, a 5/6 team and a 7/9 grade team. We would like to expand and add more teams this year, so please tell your friends how much fun field hockey is.
We will have 1 - “TRY IT” night at Sandymount Park - Field #3 on Wednesday May 22nd from 6:00-7:00 p.m..
We will also have “Open Fields” on Tuesday August 13th from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Sandymount Park for those who have signed up for evaluation and assigning teams.
Practices will consist of 2 practices per week at Sandymount Park starting mid-August. Games are on Sunday afternoons beginning the Sunday after Labor Day. The season will run through the first weekend of November. Travel is required; half of the games are away. The Clinic team will practice one evening per week and attend several half-day play days, usually on Saturday morning.
Volunteer coaches are always needed and we offer a discount for all coaches. Please email Sue DiPietro (suedipietro1@gmail.com) to receive a discount code for coaching. Coaches will be asked to attend a pre-season meeting/training and be available for the open field nights. The number of teams is dependent coach volunteers.

Refund Policy
Refunds will not be issued after August 15, 2024. Any refund that is issued is subject to a $10.00 administrative fee.
