PLAY IT FORWARD LACROSSE DAY

WHO
The Taylor Cunningham Memorial Scholarship Fund, known as "TAYLOR'S TRIBE," established as a day long lacrosse and family fun event.  Taylor’s parents are Kim and Matt Cunningham.

WHAT
Taylor’s Tribe annual Lacrosse Day is a huge outpouring of Hereford pride, community and giving. The event was created to remember and honor one young man’s love of the game of lacrosse and to GIVE BACK and PLAY IT FORWARD with the scholarship proceeds. Taylor was a HHS student athlete who died suddenly in 2006 in his senior year of high school. The event proceeds benefit deserving fellow HHS students who share the love of sport, community, and have demonstrated financial need towards college expenses. Since 2014, the event has not only provided a fun day of celebration for the community, it has also helped to:

• Pay three (3) HHS college scholarships at $2,500 per student each year
• Make a donation to Genesee Valley
• Support other HHS scholarships
• Make a donation to My Neighbor’s Foundation which directly benefits the children in the Hereford Zone
• Funded HZ Rec scholarships for children with financial need
• Contributed half of the silent auction basket proceeds to the Hereford Rec program
• Make a donation to the Hereford Food Bank

How Much?
There is a $15.00 cost to register a child to participate in the games (with a $45 cap per family).  The registration covers field use and all participants receive a Taylor’s Tribe tee shirt, a hot dog, chips, and a drink. Registration will be online through the website, linked to Stone Alley (www.stonealley.com) this year.  There is no cost for non-players/ family/ friends to attend and the day is full of food, music, games, crafts, silent auction, watching the lax games, and more.

In order to guarantee that your player receives a t-shirt, you must register by Tuesday, May 1, 2019.

Refund Policy

As contributions are a donation to a non-profit organization for the purposes of giving back to the community, refunds will not be issued.
