Hereford Zone Recreation and Parks Council

The Hereford Zone Recreation and Parks Council serves the northern Baltimore County area with a wide variety of activities for children and adults. The HZRPC is a non-profit organization qualified under IRS section 501(c)(3).

Program Information

The Hereford Youth Center is going into its 34th season. It is open to sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. It will once again be held at Hereford Middle School on Friday nights from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the following nights:

• December 16, 2016
• January 20, 2017
• February 24, 2017
• March 10, 2017
• March 24, 2017
• April 21, 2017
• May 19, 2017
• June 9, 2017

HYC allows for social interaction in a non-competitive atmosphere. Music, dancing, video games, open gym, and other activities all go on simultaneously! The cost is $20.00 per member to register for their first night or $90.00 to register for the entire season (10 nights). Per night cost for one-time visits (after the first one) is $10.00 per night. All students (including guests) must register online. Also, as part of the membership fee, a parent must chaperone at least once during the season.

Inclement Weather

If schools are closed due to inclement weather, the Youth Center will also be closed. (Any dates missed due to inclement weather will not be made up.)
