The Westminster Soccer Association provides the opportunity for players of all skill levels to develop their soccer, social and sportsmanship skills. We offer the WSA Soccer Academy for ages 4 (7/31/2016) thru 7 (2013) (plays in the fall), Co-ed In-house leagues for birth year 2012 to 2006 (2006 + 8th grade) (plays in the fall), and the High School Co-ed League (plays in the fall) and individual age groups birth year based u8 through u16 (plays in the fall and some play spring).

The Westminster Soccer Association offers the following programs:

WSA Soccer Academy

For children ages 4 thru 7. The academy follows many of the US Youth Soccer guidelines on player development. Children will be taught various ball control and dribbling techniques through the use of small-sided games. The emphasis will be on learning skills and having fun. Volunteers are needed to help make the Academy a success. All games will be on Saturdays at Friendship Valley Elementary School. In-house Program

Children born 2012 and earlier will play in the Co-ed In-house Program and will be organized by the player's age. The groups for the Fall 2020 season will be Under-10, Under-12, and Under-15 (u15 8th graders only), with all teams formed by a draft. Games are played on Saturdays mostly at Friendship Valley Elementary School. Ninth graders play in the high school co-ed league.

High School Co-ed

This is a competitive and fun league for high school students who do not play on their high school soccer team. Games are played against other programs in Carroll County. These teams are formed in mid-August.

Travel Program

Boys and girls teams for age division's Under-8 through Under-16. Age groups are now based on a child's birth year. Teams play in the Baltimore Beltway Soccer League, Central Maryland Soccer League and various tournaments. Tryouts begin in late May.
