The Pinners organization teaches the fundamentals of wrestling to youth between the ages of 5 and 12 years. Although not directly affiliated with Spring Grove Area School District, the organization fully supports school district wrestling programs and it works closely with junior and senior high coaching staff.

Registration is held in mid-October each year.  The wrestling season begins in December and ends in February. The Pinners organization participates in YCYWL matches, as well as tournaments and dual meets. Although not required, Pinners wrestlers are encouraged to participate in YCYWL league matches and tournaments.

The Pinners organization hosts several wrestling events throughout the season which support fundraising needs. The organization needs volunteers and food/drink donations to ensure that these events are successful. As with other youth organizations, the Pinners organization functions best when parents of the participating youth fully support the many volunteer roles required to run the program successfully.
